The Law Society of Saskatchewan requires candidates to apply for admission once articling and other requirements are complete.

  • Students must submit the Application for Admission and related affidavits.

  • Once approved, candidates sign the Roll of the Law Society in Regina.

  • Formal presentation ceremonies (“Presentation to the Bar”) are typically held in fall 2026, with local Bar Associations notifying candidates of specific dates and times.

Saskatchewan — Law Schools & Candidates

 

Candidates attending the Call to the Bar in Saskatchewan typically graduate from the following law school:

  • University of Saskatchewan College of Law

Internationally trained lawyers may also qualify through the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA).

Students attending the ceremony traditionally wear formal legal attire, including 4 essential items:

  1. Barrister robe

The Saskatchewan Call to the Bar ceremony is typically held in Regina and Saskatoon.
